"The current trend for sensitive, acoustic music says as much about our nation's shattered nerves as it does our music taste, and this Welsh four-piece look set to follow in the thoughtful footsteps of artists such as Damien Rice, Kathryn Williams and Tom Baxter. Each of the four tracks on this EP is written with insight and performed with a gentle passion, the subject matter highlighting the band's upbringing in Wales. Though quieter than their regional contemporaries, Halflight prove to be a new jewel in the crown of Welsh music."
